Dr Selina Tang is an Associate Dentist at Caring Dental, known for her enthusiastic and devoted approach to patient care. She graduated from King’s College London in 2015. After completing her dental foundation training in Notting Hill, Selina undertook two years of further training at Guy’s Hospital and Bristol Dental Hospital, where she gained invaluable experience in restorative dentistry, oral and maxillofacial surgery, and oral medicine.
Currently, Selina works in general practice and at Guy’s Hospital’s Oral Surgery department, where she teaches both undergraduate and postgraduate students. She is committed to lifelong learning and has completed a one-year cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry course, as well as the postgraduate MJDF examinations at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.
Selina practices and enjoys all aspects of general dentistry. She has a particular interest in treating nervous patients and children, and she has been commended for her ability to put patients at ease. She believes in treating patients the way she would like to be treated. She is an Invisalign provider and has completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry, aesthetic restorative dentistry, and conscious sedation.
Selina’s top priority is ensuring that her patients have a positive and enjoyable experience. She strives to provide the highest standard of dental care and is especially empathetic to nervous patients, committing herself to making people feel at ease during appointments and ensuring that everyone leaves her surgery smiling.
Selina works with us all day on a Wednesday into the evening.
Outside of dentistry, she loves enjoying delicious food with good friends, staying fit, and has recently run a marathon! Selina is expecting her first baby and will be on maternity leave for nine months from January 2025.
