Alexandra is a highly experienced Dental Hygienist and Therapist. She qualified from The Eastman Dental Hospital in 2001 and has since worked in specialist private practice as a hygienist and in hospital and community practice as a dental therapist.
Alexandra's career includes voluntary work in children's clinics in Romania and Cambodia. She has also completed the BSDHT Mentoring and Coaching course with the University of Kent, equipping her with skills to provide coaching and mentoring to other hygienists.
With over 20 years in dentistry, Alexandra is particularly skilled at hand scaling, a cleaning technique valued by patients who prefer this over the use of water. She believes in motivating and inspiring patients to improve their oral health and prevent dental disease.
Outside of her professional life, Alexandra is a devoted mum to a lively daughter and enjoys running and skiing. She actively participates in organising and running the dental service for Crisis at Christmas.
Alexandra is available to see patients every other Tuesday morning.
