What is Invisalign?

Invisalign treatment involves wearing a series of custom-made, clear aligners that gradually move your teeth into their ideal position. Unlike traditional braces, Invisalign aligners are clear and can be removed for eating, drinking, and oral hygiene.

Key Benefits of Invisalign:

Discreet Appearance:

Clear aligners are virtually invisible.

Comfort:

Smooth, custom-fitted aligners minimise irritation.

Convenience:

Aligners are removable for eating, drinking, and cleaning.

Predictable Results:

Advanced 3D imaging technology ensures precise treatment planning.

Invisalign Treatment Process

Invisaligh Consultation at Caring Dental

Initial Consultation

Invisalign begins with a consultation, where our dentist will assess your suitability for treatment. During this visit:

We will evaluate your teeth and oral health.

Photographs of your teeth will be taken.

A comprehensive discussion will cover how Invisalign works, treatment expectations, and costs.

Invisaligh Treatment Plan at Caring Dental

Treatment Planning

If you choose to proceed, we will:

Take a 3D digital scan of your teeth using our scanner.

Take a panoramic x-ray.

Send these records to Invisalign to create a personalised ClinCheck. This is a 3D simulation to show the anticipated movement of your teeth and the final result of your treatment. This costs £250 to order.

3-Order-Invisilign

Approving Your Plan and Ordering Aligners

This appointment typically occurs a week later. This session includes:

Reviewing your personalised 3D treatment plan (ClinCheck).

Discussing the number of aligners needed and the estimated treatment duration.

Once you are satisfied with your ClinCheck plan, we will proceed with ordering your Invisalign aligners and make remaining payment or set up finance plan.

4-Fitting

Fitting Your Aligners

Your aligners will be ready approximately two weeks after approval. During your fitting appointment:

Our dentist will ensure your aligners fit comfortably.

You will receive instructions on how to wear and care for your aligners.

Interproximal reduction (IPR) may be performed if necessary. This involves gently reshaping in between some teeth to create space for alignment.

Attachments may be placed on certain teeth. These small, tooth-coloured shapes help the aligners apply the correct forces to move your teeth efficiently.

As you progress through treatment, you’ll move onto a new set of aligners approximately every 1-2 weeks, gradually moving your teeth closer to their final position. Regular review appointments about every 4 weeks ensure your treatment stays on track.
