Amy graduated from Queen Mary University London (QMUL) in 2018 with a diploma in Dental Hygiene and Therapy, having previously completed a second-class degree in Human Biology at Loughborough University (2013-2016). She has since gained extensive experience working in community dental settings, private periodontal practices.
Amy has undertaken additional training in teeth whitening, facial aesthetics, and inhalation sedation with SAAD, further broadening her skill set. She has a keen interest in improving oral health in paediatric patients, particularly in reducing caries rates in children under five, and in exploring the links between periodontal disease and systemic health conditions.
Amy takes pride in breaking down oral health advice into practical, easy-to-implement steps for her patients. She is particularly drawn to the multidisciplinary approach and specialist care available at the practice, which allows her to work collaboratively to provide comprehensive care. Her goal is always to ensure her patients feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared-for.
Amy has recently moved to Singapore for three years but is currently back in the UK for three weeks this January, during which she is delighted to be working and available for hygiene appointments during this time.
