Zahra has always aspired to be a dentist, as it combines some of the best qualities she believes she possesses, such as a caring and empathetic nature, alongside creativity and artistic flair. It has been her lifelong dream, and she feels fortunate to be able to channel her passion and positivity for dentistry into the work she carries out for her patients on a daily basis.

Zahra aims to inspire confidence in people by creating beautiful smiles in a holistic way. This passion has been reflected in her journey over the last decade as she has worked to improve and progress professionally, striving to provide the highest standard of care that all her patients deserve. She qualified from King’s College London Dental Institute in 2011 with Honours and Distinction.

Zahra then completed the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons. She spent the following two years training in general practice and in various hospitals, completing her Dental Core Training in Restorative Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and Paediatric Dentistry/Sedation/Oral Medicine at Barts and The Royal London Hospital. During her time at the hospital, Zahra was also involved in teaching Restorative Dentistry to younger, prospective dentists with the London Deanery and providing advanced skills training for more comprehensive dental care professionals on behalf of Health Education England.

She went on to work in various dental practices, expanding her skillset by completing a Diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry at the University of Manchester in 2017.

Zahra is extremely passionate about dentistry and keeps up to date with relevant developments in the field by attending annual continuing professional development courses. She has invested time into her career to develop herself and gain as much experience as possible. She takes pride in ensuring all her patients feel at ease when visiting the practice, offering tailored treatment plans by exploring and discussing all available options. She particularly enjoys providing cosmetic and restorative dental solutions, ensuring a minimally invasive approach is prioritised. Zahra also has a special interest in treating nervous patients to help them feel reassured and calm, and she enjoys working with children.

Outside of dentistry, Zahra enjoys travelling, tennis, baking, spending time with her family, and has recently become a mum for the first time, which has been a wonderful and rewarding new chapter in her life.

Zahra will be working Wednesday afternoons and evenings to cover Selina's maternity leave and looks forward to meeting all the patients at the practice.
